Event Details:

Introducing the Underground Flavour Series, a multicultural dining experience at the Kitchener Market, hosted By The Underground Flavour Group. Experience hands on cooking, crafted & prepared from our group of 12 diverse top chefs. Ranging from countries on all ends of the world, our chefs have put together a 3 course menu that represents the country from which they come from. On the last Wednesday of every month, we offer you a seat at the Marketplace table to indulge in an ethnic cuisine prepared by the featured chef. A tour of the world one bite at a time!  One glass of wine will be offered at each meal. Please register individually for all evenings that you wish to attend.

January 29: FULL - Nicaragua with Chef Arnold Yescas - Register

The featured menu for this date is:

Chicken foot (Sal Sev)
Plaintain chips with mango sour and tamarind chutney

Main (family style platters)
Dhal, rice, and duck curry or stew chicken
Dhal puri (as option)
Fry bake and fish choka
Lamb pepperpot and plait bread
Chow Mein/fried rice with fried chicken

Vegetarian 7 Curry
Dhal, rice, fry pumpkin, fry bagee, Aloo and Channa curry, katahar
Mango and lime acar

Lime wash

A selection of:
Blackeye chinese cake, pine tart, coconut roll
Spiced custard
Fruit sponge cake and cassava pone
